These are the Nike Air Griffey Max 1s. These are the third pair of Griffey’s to release this year. They are themed after the Cincinatti Reds team that Griffey was also a part of. These are set to release at Footaction in October. For more info and pictures, go HERE.

I find em a little simple and the colors don’t really jump out at me too much but I like the idea behind them.. Taking a much needed break from JBs for a little bit, we have some new Nike SBs. Originally thought to be named after the Toxic Avenger, these are the Toxic Sea Robins. It’s a crazy contrast of colors but match the promo materials for the Toxic Avenger show. These are set to release August 15th at NJ Skateshop. Will probably be limited so stay on point if you want a pair of these. These colors are a little too wild for me but i’m sure they’ll still sell out.

Here we go, this is definitely something I have been looking forward to.. Alife 2009 Fall Collection… I’m a pretty big Alife fan and definitely own more than a few pairs of this brand.  Amongst sneaker heads, Alife is a pretty well known brand but just like Gourmet I rarely see anyone rocking them.. They also have some pretty eye catching colorways.. The love/hate relationship that sneakerheads have with Jordan Brand is forcing the Brand to stick to what it knows and leave the creativity in the color department only. After the absurd amounts of terrible fusions (with many more to come), they spring the news on us about the Space Jam XI’s dropping and hope is restored. Only to have the moment saddened by the news of the International Release only True Blue III’s. SMH.

But it seems that they are trying to come back. They are releasing the Air Jordan VII  Sixty PLus Pack:
